UPDATE WITHOUT PICTURES.

OKAY! haven been bloggin. today's june 27th liao!
nvm! lets blog from 24th onwards.
okay. so..
the day AFTER aunt doris got her cage, was 24th, yup yup.

JUNE 24th !

this day, wenwen met me again after her band.
and we both went to yishun again.
as the person at blk 925 said the day before,
that pearl whites would arrive on this day.

yupp. so there were FOUR pearl whites.
3 female and 1 male. yupp, initially aunt wanted 2 females,
so... i ADVISED her to get 1male and 1 female, so they can breed.
but she said she's terrified at the sight of hamster pups,
as in those just borned.
yupp, but STILL,
i managed to PERSUADE her to get 1male1female.

but after ard 25-30mins,
after buying, and we were at the nearby coffeeshop having dessert,
she suddenly changed her mind, said she wants to change to 2 female..
-_____-" OKAY, so we went back to change,
but by the time we went back,
the 2 female pearl whites were TAKEN !! so fast!

yupp. so.. nvm. i just told aunt to bear with the pearl whites.
if they breed, im MOST willing to go over to her place and take care.
until i left her house, she was still very uneasy. -___-"

anyways, i bought a sapphire there too.
after discount as aunt bought 2, and we bought together,
winte whiter (sapphire) usual price there was $12,
but i paid only $7. =]

so midnite she sms-ed me,
told me she's gonna change to roborovskis.
the CUTEST breed of hamsters,
yet the HARDEST to handle, as they're very nimble and fast.
and de main reason is being, she doesnt wan to breed. -___-"

haiyar.. abit fed up larh. after choosing cage, choosing hamsters for her.
she actually so troublesome. bleah..
oh wells nevermind. its her money anyways.
SO. these are the hamsters that day. =]

these 2 pearl whites are aunt doris's.
not wintee and winter.but in the end she still changed lar.
-__-"anyways thats my sapphire below,
i named it XiaoHei. =D

its really small !!
when i brought it home,
i introduced xiaohei with winter and wintee.
was so afraid they would fight,
but luckily they turned out fine.

okay! size comparison!
isnt SHE small !? gawd.

sigh, unable to post pictures.

yesterday, 26 june,
was Mr Roger Lim's wedding.
i was asked to take photos.
yupp. will post a few pics again when i can.

and TODAY, 27 june.
i bought another sapphire,
at serangoon north!
gawd. the petshops there......
ONE WHOLE STRETCH LARH!
super awestrucked when i saw so many shops.

anyways. they sell things really cheap there!
planning to get my stuffs from there nxt time.
anyways.

now i know,
if i wanna get cheapo cages,
go to yishun blk 101 or serangoon north.
if i wanna get cage accessories and add-ons,
go to great world city's pets kampong.
if u wanna know where u can purchse,
any breed of hamsters,
be it winter white normal, pearl or sapphire,
or pudding, or roborovski, or even white face roborovski.
can ask me. XD~

well..
i've done loads of petshop hunting,
from east side, tampines, parkway,
i've scoped all the way to suntec,
to novena, to harbourfont,
and to ANG MO KIO and serangoon north today.

places i've not been to but had heard of.

choa chu kang's FARMART.
lavender's pet shop at some block.
tiong bahru complex's petshop.
marina square's petshop
bishan J8's pet shop.
bukit timah plaza's petshop.

alrite. so far just these few.
haha. im gonna hunt down these places someday!

well....
i wan a bigger cage now!! now i realise how much height can make a difference. XD~
maybe i shld just get another cage from yishun. XD~
or just save money to get a crittertrailTWO or THREE. -_-"
horrible. no money. im so hamster crazy.

OKAY. WHOEVER WANTS TO ADOPT A HAMSTER.
FREE OF CHARGE.
PLS LET ME KNOW.
as i have 4hamsters now,
and when they grow big and give birth,
i wont be able to keep so many big ones!
so. WHOEVER DUN MIND ADOPTING GROWN up hamsters.

just that u gotta get ur own cage and bedding. =D

aunt doris's cage.

HOHO.
okay.. yesterday's yesterday was what date huh?
errr.. if im nort wrong it shld be......

JUNE 23 !!

wenwen and i, went over to yishun,
to help my GrandAunt,
i call her Aunty Doris.

yupp err..
help aunty doris to choose her cage and hamsters.
we went to yishun central's blk 925.
there're 2 shops there selling LOADS of cages,
varying from hamsters to guinea pigs, to rabbits and chinchillas.

however, they only sold 3 breeds of hamsters there.
Roborovski,
White Face Roborovski,
Winter White (Normal) and
Winter White(Sapphire)

hmm... the cages there are of standard price,
and they dont sell alot of cage accessories and add-ons.
but the HAMSTERS are of good price.

1 Roborovski, for $18 !!
its good price u know?
outside at other Big shops, like
Parkway Parade's Sam's Pet and Aquarium,
or Great World City's PET KAMPONG.
roborovski's are sold at $28 onwards.

hurhur..
winter whites sold for $12.
err.. okay okay price larh.

yupp. anyways, we didnt get any hamsters there.
as aunty doris ONLY wants pearl white.
she only started liking hamsters after seeing MY winter and wintee.
LOL! XD~

yupp so....
we took bus to another blk. yishun blk 101.
and there's another shop there.
which sells .... gawd....
a WHOLE LOT OF CAGES LARH!
the cages are all on the outside.
they even have the SAME cage as mine,
but with TWO platforms, same as CritterTrailTWO.
ONLY sold at ard urm. $48 ??
or was it $45..
but of course, that kinda cage, NO brand one larh,
and we checked the cage,
realised its quite a good imitation,
just that certain area and compartments of the cage,
still can NOT be compared to CritterTrail,
although identical.

those kinda cages,
are good and VERY spacious,
and are NOT for fussy buyers.

and GOSH.
HABITRAIL SAFARI going at $30 there !
OMG! original price of it, at more premier shops,
is like.. $36 to $39 ?

oh wells. okay.
but the hamsters there, at blk 101,
are.... smelly lar!
not well taken care off.
sui bian sui bian one the ahpek who tends the shop. -_-"
yar, so we din get any hamsters there too.

we went back to blk 925 yishun central to enquire.
they told us, Winter White (PEARL)
also known as, Pearl White will arrive the nxt day.

yupp.. so....
we went to aunt doris's house,
and fixed her cage and made everything for her.

oh wells, here are some pics.

if you realise,
the box is similar to the one i bought.
just scroll all the way down, u'll see another post,
with a similar box. and that's my cage.

becos, they're of the same brand.

its exactly the same as CritterTrailONE,
the one which i sold wenwen.
just that the wheel and bottle is different,
and of course crittertrailone is MORE colourful.
but this cage, we bought at $38.
quite a standard price.

oh yeah..
i forgot to mention,
when i was on my way to blk 925 with wenwen,
i had to cross this 'metal railing' or whatever u call it,
wenwen climbed over it,
but i chose to go under.
too much speed when passing thru the bars,
and ta-da,

i hit my mouth against the bars,
which was, BULLS EYE,
the spot where my ulcer was.
and tada, it bled tremendously.

kept, spitting blood.
fresh blood all over the road.

great.

update 19-22.JUNE.06

alright!
im quite bushed!
just now around 11plus,
prepared and heated some food at home,
and cabbed down to baobei's house,
as she was complaining saying her hse nothing to eat.

HAHA.
since quite some time, i did something so sweet,
yar. so i decided to BLOG it down. HAHA
yes my friends, compliment me pls.

i feel that such things,
shldnt be done all the time,
as if u do it all the time, ppl will expect that u SHLD do it.
but if u do it once in awhile..
like surprises.

oh wells. baobei loves surprises isnt it?
haha. she was touched.

JUNE 18th !!

this is the day where i set up my NEW cage which i bought!
and added a new add-on to it. =]

yupp, so this is the LAYOUT of the cage.
after adding the Safari Look-Out Deck in,
i find that my cage IS small. =X

JUNE 19th !!

i gave them a box, for shelter!
looks like they like it.
gave them carrot that day. they seem to like it alot!
haha. =D

oh yes.
this was also the day i went over to an online friend's house from
PETS.com.sg forum.
her name was MAY.

she was a first timer in rearing hamsters.
her friend asked if she wanted hamsters and she said anything,
and the nxt day, tada, threw her 8 hamsters.
man.. how can anyone just throw a FIRST TIMER 8 hamsters?
so irresponsible...

especially when the hamsters are all of DIFFERENT sizes.
look below!

look at the sizes!!
this is the only MALE one which is matured enough for mating,
so had to seperate him from the rest of the litter.
otherwise inbreeding will occur.

this is the smallest one and WEAKEST one there.

even smaller than wenter when we bought him.
and... BY RIGHT, hamsters this age,
shld STILL be with their mother..
that fella who passed may the hamsters,
is simply TOO irresponsible.

this is wenter that time.
was small, but not as small as the one above.

by putting all these hamsters,
big ones, small ones together,
was a risk too carelessly made.
what if the bigger ones attacked the smaller ones?

yarr.. so..
they're all Winter Whites.
oh wells. i went over to May's house to help her.
seperate the hamsters,
taught her some basics on hamsters,
this and that. yuppp. and abit awkward,
cos we dun really know each other,
but i guess. i really love helping people,
especially hamster wise. XD~

JUNE 20 !!

band bbq day!
wont post any pics on the band bbq,
as there're just too many pics to be posted.
so... yar. shorten. =D

i wore wenwen's contacts that day.

JUNE 21 !!

the day where i bought a 2nd hand habitrail SAFARI cage.
bleah.. the person claims its in GOOD condition larh.
but since he came down all the way from thomson road there,
to parkway just to pass me the cage, i cant turn him down.

bleah. the cage was rusty all over!!
horrible, and wash the cage, leave the cage wet and damp and sell me like that.
how can sell one.
nah nvm, since he came all the way down,
i shall be nice and not turn him down.

yupp. so this is it.

stains like this can be washed,
just have to be scrubbed hard,
but looks like that fella never bothered. -____-"

went over to wenwen's house,
to check on wenter & danter.
yupp, for the info of those who dont know.
the two Pearl White hamsters u see me posting recently,
is Winter & Wintee.
they're MY OWN PERSONAL hamsters.

wenter and danter,
are the hamsters i bought for wenwen baobei. =]

haha yupp.
not only do they have a difference in size,
i also see a little bit of difference,

in the height of a HabiTrail Cage, and a CritterTrail Cage.

i added the Safari LOOK-OUT Deck
from the Habitrail Safari cage i bought,
to wenwen's CritterTrail Cage. XD~
just like how i bought my own LookOut Deck to add into my cage.

yup. so dis is how her cage looks like now.
with the Safari Look-out Deck add-on in the cage.

its not easy to add this Look-out Deck to the cage,
as wenwen's cage is a Standard Cage size,
and doesnt have the HEIGHT.
whereas, if u scroll down, u'll see the cage i bought,
HAS THE HEIGHT,
so it is quite easy to put in add ons into my cage. =]
