update july 7th

JULY 7th !

some pictures update!
on the 7th july,
i adopted FIVE more 1month old babies.

when they were brought back,
they had VERY ugly fur, curly and looks wet.
and were skinny until like.. so bad lar!
you could probably differentiate which are the previous 3,
and which 5 are the new ones brought in judging by the fur.

i gave them a water bath,
thinking that their fur is dirty,
but after drying them,
the fur still remains curly and look wet. O_O
(water baths for hamsters are NOT strongly advised) =]

yuppp. i nursed them and watched over them for a few days,
until they were in better condition,
and den decided to sell them away.

on the same day,
i realised a little fella with a white face together with my other babies,
as i put all TWELVE babies together.
8 normal winterwhites,
2 puddings.
2 sapphires.

and i was wondering who's this fella,
wondering since when i had a baby hamster with a white face.
guess who it was.

it was XIAOHUO !!
xiaohuo's colour changed !!

xiaohuo and xiaohei are BOTH sapphires.
now look, and compare the colours of their faces.
a normal sapphire's colour shld be yellow-blue,
making it look very greyish.
just look at xiaohei(right) , she has yellow patches on her head.

now, im starting to think that,
xiaohuo's parents must be a Sapphire and a Pearl White.
otherwise, he wouldnt have such light fur!
