LONG update, AUG 10-19

well i know these updates are like DAMN DAMN long ago,
they're like a month ago,
but, this week is FINALLY my holidays.
i'll spend my time dedicating to you guys! =D
there will be LOADS of pics! so... ENJOY!

AUGUST 10th!

torter's pups at age of 10days old!
4puddings 2winterwhites!
have not weaned still. =]

we tried the O.R Chicken Chop that day.
was not filling but nice, cos of the crispy breading and mushroom gravy. =D
and the worst thing was there were only miserably 5-6chips.

AUGUST 11th !!

wenwen and i went to our usual place all the way near AMK.
to get our food supplies again.
we went there ONLY expecting to buy food,
but... looks like many other stuffs tempted us. HAHA.
so in de end, we bought not only....

FOOD!
but also...

a SYRIAN hamster ball,
its really big!
this syrian ball is cool!

u can actually let it stand on its own,
or just simply attach it to the cage, as shown in the pic below. =D

wenwen thus attached it to her CritterTrailTWO cage. =D

thats Cream in the ball, and Floss on the right platform. =D

oh wells,
we also bought a wheel which wenwen needs.
din take any pictures of it. uh huh..

and not forgetting the best buy of the trip!

this little cutieeee!
he is a Winter White, not a Sapphire.
though he looks so much like a sapphire.

this pic here will show that it looks like a normal winter white.

however this picture here, when i compare it with a NORMAL winterwhite,
it looks so much like a sapphire. haha.
its actually a Winter White based hamster with Pearl Pudding's genes.
remember whats the colour of a pearl pudding? its very light yellowish.
thus this Winter White which we bought this day appears so light! =D

so i was bored that day,
so i decided to take pictures of some of my hammies,
and my tank layouts. =D

this is TANK 1,
a 2feet glass tank, which is placed under my computer desk.
only those who're are pregnant,
gonna give birth,
will be placed in this tank as i can give them more attention. =]

but of course, back then, i just any-o-how placed hamsters around.
but for now, its meant for breeding purposes. =]

this is TANK 2,
a 1feet+ but less den 1.5feet tank.

no choice..
it seems a little small on space,
but back then i din had enough tanks. =]
but now its a 1feet tank without divider already. =D

this is TANK 3,
a 2feet tank, placed outside at my balcony area.
no choice..
cant put in the room as there's no space,
cant put anywhere else in the house,
as my f**ked mum wouldnt allow me to,
so no choice... have to put at the balcony.

tralala.
not forgetting my 3storey Blue sanko cage,
but i din take any pics of it,

AUGUST 12th !!

my hair's really long!

can actually pull the back to the front!

theses picture was taken on August 11th,
and the date today is September 10th.
i've NOT cut my hair since April 29th. =x

ANYWAYS!
wenwen and i went to IMM area,
which is like so far all the way at jurong east,
to collect 2 pearl puddings!

so this is it! all my Puddings, Pearl Whites & Pearl Puddings.
can u spot the 2 yellowish hamsters who look like pearl whites?
there're a total of 2 puddings, 4pearl whites and 3pearl puddings in this pic. =D

some updates of my hamstery!

look how ugly hamsters can get when they get into water.

SnowBell just turned into a porcupine! LOL.
(psst, water baths are NOT recommended for hamsters unless neccessary.)

Wintee, my skinniest hamster.
both Wintee and Winter, are ALWAYS skinny.
somehow they've their way to keep their diet,
despite u throwing as much food as you can into their food bowl. O_O
weird. =/

Nesa, my fattest Pudding and oldest (9months) hamster ever.

XiaoHai, my biggest Sapphire ever. =D

Neka & Nera, both are puddings,
just that nera's a mixed pudding.

greedy Nera ! chewing away. lol.

Roto & Roko are my only two Roborovskiis. =]

this little ww's face is still as bright coloured! haha.

if u look closely, XiaoHei is actually much rounder now..
she's pregnant! lol.

i had to pick all these ONE BY ONE from their bedding,
as they totally spill their food all over the bedding
and made it look so dirty.

AUGUST 14th !!

nxt morning i woke up,
i found XiaoHei in the Robo's compartment,
she actually climbed the Meshes which i used to put water bottles
and slipped into the robo's compartment,
thank goodness none of them are injured. =]

well, do u see 2 pearl puddings in here?
they're more yellowish as compared to normal pearl whites. =D

AUGUST 15th !!

Torter's pups have weaned!!
so i went down to wenwen's place to check on them. =D

4puddings : 2 nww (normal winter whites)

the babies with Wenter,

still remember i bought Wenter back then
on MAY 11th for baobei wenwen this year,
when he was as small as these babies, maybe a little bigger?
now he is all grown up, and is NOW a father! haha.
cute eh ?

some of them can just FALL ASLP,
after 1-2mins on my palm. HAHA. adorable.. =D
wenwen has kept 3.
3 are sold off already. =]

torter gave birth pretty fast.
i gave torter to wenwen like ONLY 3weeks before it gave birth.
and i guess both Wenter and Torter really had chemistry?
LOL. mated that fast. -_-"

at 15days of age, the pups are smaller than my contact lens container. ^_^

this was Wenter, picture taken on MAY 12. okay,
i was right, he was SLIGHTLY bigger than the current babies's sizes
when we bought him back then =p

now he's well fed, and a fully grown pudding. =D
so fat too!

HAHA. no larhhhh. its quite a collection of Dwarf hamsters,
ranging from different breeds of winterwhites(pearl, sapphire,pudding, normal)
to roborovskis.

pearlwhite, mixed pearl pudding, mixed pudding.
this is just a picture to show the differences in colours.

i dun have a PURE pudding, which is around their age,
so cant compare.
but if u scroll up and look at Wenter's picture.
yup, thats the colour of a PURE pudding.

mixed pearl pudding, pure pearl pudding.

the mixed pearl pudding is more yellowish.
the PURE pearl pudding, is actually VERY white-based,
but slightly tinted yellow.

Butter and the mixed winterwhite i bought.
look at the colours of their faces. =]

AUGUST 17th !!

okayy! enough of hamsters,
lets move on to some pictures of my feminine self. HAHA.
wth, makes me sound so ah gua. LOL. -_-"

my hair has really grown!

somehow, flat hair can be quite ugly sometimes. -_-"

AUGUST 18th !!

i just love colour lenses so much,
however, look what they did to my eyes.
sighhhh.

it doesnt really show much red-ness here.
infact it was really like.. BLOODSHOT eyes u know. =((

it only happened in June this year,
but for the past 8months of wearing coloured lenses,
i NEVER had problem with lenses.

big sigh....
until now, september already,
its still like that.

and it really really hurts sometimes when u take de lenses off.
ur visions really blurry,
your eyes so dry, that u have u blink 5-10times, in order to get a clearer vision,
ur astigmatism so bad, that u DONT wanna open ur eyes at a bus stop,
while waiting for bus at night.

well......
hope my eyes are fine? =/

AUGUST 19th !!

TRUE ENOUGH!!
as suspected, XiaoHei gave birth
to 4 lovely cubs. =]
average is a 6 a litter.
however its XiaoHei's first litter.
first litter for hamsters usually very hard to survive,
becos the mum doesnt know how to take care.

well.. im really glad, XiaoHei's a really good mother!
all 4babies are SAFE AND SOUND UP TO DATE!

well, these are the babies JUST borned.
because XiaoHei herself, is not a FULLY growned Sapphire,
her babies are SUPER SUPER small !!
check this out.

used my ring of diameter 2cm, to compare the size.

(psst, again, it is STRONGLY not advised to remove the babies from mother,
in my case, xiaohei's very familiar with human touch, although its only her 1st litter,
i very carefully did this with proper procedures, so DONT try it, u might just lose ur babies)

back to wenwen's hamsters!
remember i gave XiaoHuo to wenwen about a month back?
just for your info, wenwen's Torter was also given by me. =p

Danter & XiaoHuo!!

they're both Sapphires,
but u can see how their colours varies,
Danter is Sapphire based, with Pudding genes.
XiaoHuo, i SUSPECT, is Sapphire based, with Pearl White Genes,
otherwise she wouldnt have such light fur,
and even a SUPER LIGHT GREYish-white face.

but anyways,
they're both living together very happily,
and just a week ago, wenwen told me XiaoHuo gave birth!
hahaha. i gave wenwen 2 hamsters, both gave birth after 3-4weeks. =D

oh by the way,
hope u guys havent forgotten,

she's also happily living now! healthily too. =D
