you guys know what's de saddest thing in life?
haha.

he grit his teeth and held on throughout all struggles,
he told himself to be strong, because he has to be strong for her.
he patiently bears and tolerates everything and
he perservered through countless emotional struggles in a relationship,
just to last 1 more hour, 1 more day, 1 more week, 1 more month with his loved one.

he acts stupid just to cheer her up,
he does sweet things time to time, to fill de relationship with surprises.
most importantly of all..
he casted away all his good and close friends, and drew his line,
just cos and worried that she might get unhappy..

he made it this far..
day by day, week by week, month by month,
because he truly loves her.

but.. he forgotten that love is 2 sided,
that people will change.. love will subside..
nothing lasts forever..
she left him.

.. she left him after 21months eventually.

I FINALLY CUT MY HAIR!
AFTER 13MONTHS!!

i tried styling.. it doesnt stand at all!

so.. this hairstyle cannot spike at all, its meant to be flat.
after not styling for 10months, suddenly i feel that both my hands are useless.
hahah.

well this is how i look now.

trying to look Jrock, haha,
but of course i dont put on make up when i go out now. =]

its 3.24AM now, and since its past 12am,
its 18.may.07 now..

time passes so fast.
just 10hours ago, ard 5.30pm,
i had my number 7th session of pool with Isaac and Kelvin.

pool's so fun!
yea yeah.. go ahead and laugh,
a boy, nono, a young man at age of 19, finally learning to play pool.
hahahaa. but its so addictive!

though losing again and again,
its just so fun to play.
by the 5th session, i was actually already on my own,
able to play with them, as in clearing quite alot of balls,
however when it reaches the last 1 or 2 balls, they beat me to it.

oh wells.. alot has happened over the months.
u know.. past 1 week, i've been sleeping like 4.30am, 5am every morning.
im living a life so lifeless now. deprived of sports, and fun.
wenwen darling just finished her exams, hope she has more time to spend with me now.
Isaac and gang seldom hang together too.

sigh.
really alot has happened,
been through alot of ups and downs.
i realise im quite introvert now, seldom open up to anyone.
through the big and small quarrells with darling,
i've been so numb and used to everything that i no longer confide in anyone.

i dont even notice myself,
until XM chatted with me few days back,
then i realise, its really so true, that i no longer tell anyone bout myself.
i wasnt like this, but because lately,
i believe that all problems in a relationship can be solved within 2 people,
doesnt need to implicate others or other's opinion.
maybe i think im matured enough to handle it..
well or even maybe i think that no one's matured enough to give me good quality advices.
am i stubborn or what?

i dont know.
i just feel that i've been through really alot in this L.O.V.E field,
and learnt alot over the years,
i may only have 1 ex girlfriend, but over the years, everything else
opens my mind fresh and made me realised and learnt alot alot of things,
that not just anyone's advices work on me now.
probably because i think that i really have seen alot happen,
feel and been through alot,
that none of their advices seem to work on me.

i do feel alone alot of times.

i need some understanding...
anyone does? they say they do..
but they dont make me feel that they do.
how many can actually understand..

im happy all the time,
am i?
i appear happy all the time,
cheerful.. everything.
who really understands..?

friends i lost, i try to catch up,
alot of them changed, because we dont catch up often,
we fade away.
i remain helpless in this situation
and sit down watching everything fade away from me.

weird,
why do i feel this sense of loneliness time to time.
i remember this feeling.
i felt it like 4-6months, or was it 8-10months ago?
i simply dont remember.
this feeling of loneliness out of the sudden.
so overwhelming that you feel like ..
crying but you dont know why at all.

i havent felt like that for quite a long time.
everyone says they understand.. man, who does?

things which are expected to change for the better,
remains unchanged.. am i expecting too much?
too much that i get disappointed again and again..
my heart breaks each time i think of it..
i grow tired and weak.. who understands..?
repeated disappointments,
helpless struggles,
holding onto plain hopes and expectations..

i cry really easily nowadays.
is that because my heart cant take anymore?
i've been putting up brave fronts again and again..
i dont cry, does that mean im not hurt?
does someone has to cry, to show that they're hurt, they're sad?

u know, if everyone didnt care bout the feelings of their loved ones,

and blog everything according to how they feel,

this world would be a mess.

i feel loneliness, once again.

thank you all my readers for being so patient with me!
im finally done with all exams,
including my Main Study Recital,
and also my senior, Jessica's recital, of which i helped her to play keyboards. =]

alot has happened to me within these 2 months.
i dont remember those which took place like 2months ago,
probably i can share with u guys things which took place 2-3weeks ago?
haha, this post will be without pictures.

just to share with you guys what i've went through lately.
well.. my recital... lets move on to before that.
first, i shall introduce the songs.
we're required to do 3songs from 3 decades.
thus i decided upon 2 Ballads, and 1 Rock.
all 3 are Chinese Songs.
do ask me to send u if you're interested to listen.
and ALL THREE songs are Re-arranged by myself.

Teresa Teng - Wo Zhi Zai Hu Ni (70s)
Jacky Cheung - Ai Ru Chao Shui (90s)
Ke You Lun - Ling (recent)

all three songs were arranged by myself.

FIRST SONG: TERESA TENG - WO ZHI ZAI HU NI

i decided to do it a Flute + Piano duet.
wanted a saxophone, but couldnt find any saxophone player to help me,
thus Iris helped me out as a flautist for the song,
the 1st song features my knowledge on chord progressions, chord substitutions, chord additions, and adding chords between chords.

the arrangement goes like this.
Flute plays de main melody, im doing FULL accompaniment.

Introduction
Verse 1
Chorus 1
Interlude 1
Verse 2
Chorus 2
Interlude 2
Chorus 3
End

Introduction was something improvised by myself.
Verse 1 and Chorus 1, using the main chords which is very very simple chords like,
C, Am, Em, F, G7, C, F/G, Dm,
totally simple chords, no substitution, no additions, no inversions nothing at all!

following by the Interlude, which is my solo,
which my main study teacher, Belinda, came up with smth for me.

up next is Verse 2 and Chorus 2.
for this segment, i substitute chords here and there,
like instead of using a G, i can use a Em7.
i also use additions, instead of F, i use FMaj7.
i also used inversions, lets say actual progression is C , G.
instead of that, i used C, G/B. make it sound a descending bass moving.

also adding inner chords,
like a progression F , Em7,
i added a inner chord in between,
so it'd be, F, Ebdim7, Em7

i think XM would be very interested to learn all these.
correct XM? hahah. but actually, before i came lasalle,
i already know all these stuffs and how to use them already.
even main study teacher Belinda,
said i play as well as her Level 1 and Level 2 students,
and also theoritically, pop knowledge on chord progressions,
i have quite a wonderful foundation of it..
its just my technical like scales and arpeggios,
which i never had the chance to do them,
which holds me back that i cant jump from Foundation to Level 1.

im very proud of all these i learnt myself really..
even in Electone, though we do pop songs all the time,
not everyone studies and memorises the pop progressions like i do.
really not trying to show off, but.. im really proud of it!!
from the once looked down musician, i turn out to become someone who gains people's respect once they've worked with me before.
my aural for pop music, why is it that i can easily play like most of the songs, that people let me listen to? its not because i've perfect pitch, but its because i study chord progressions and have them all in my head that i know really loads and loads of progressions by ear and by heart. man... im really so proud of myself.
for being able to learn all these all by myself.
thank you God, for letting me reap what i sow. =p

MY GOD WHY I TALK SO MUCH,
OKAY OKAY CONTINUE. =X

after finishing the 2nd verse and chorus,
leads to another interlude also created by myself,
which MODULATES to a higher key which is a Tone higher.
and goes through the chorus 1 last time with all same progression but different key this time round, and finally the ending. quite a good arrangement,
firstly cause de 1st chorus and verse and 2nd chorus and verse,
will showcase my chord knowledge.

and interlude showcases my techniques on playing
and 2nd interlude showcases my knowledge on modulation chords.

well... maybe not so good in de eyes of the examiners,
but something i spent so much effort in doing.. i think its quite... good?
as in for my level i suppose... well.. i SUPPOSE. =/

okie...

SECOND SONG: JACKY CHEUNG - AI RU CHAO SHUI

this is probably one of the BEST arrangements i've done so far.
i really must thank my finalised band members,
Axis Revolution, all of joseph's band members,
for making this song a success!

this song would be featuring my voice. =x
and of course my ability to play and sing at the same time.

i think the band were very impressed with my arrangement too.
they used to look down on me too, as in,
think i always show off or stuffs.. -_-"
when i sent them the song, they actually played accordingly,
but when i wrote them the chords, they realise its not so easy after all.
until i did the recording of roughly how it sounds like,
than they caught it and started practising from my recording.
my arrangement wasnt the same as the original.
it was like 50% different. i did my own 8bar progression for the guitar solo.
i came up with my own keyboard and piano 8bar solo which brought the song to a different direction at that solo part.
the whole arrangement, when we dry run it at our 2nd jamming session.
Shaun, the bassist was like "Woah! The arrangement ah, VERY NICE"

ho ho ho...
actually its crap to say like that..
i cant get a recording of it.. sigh!

THIRD SONG: KE YOU LUN - LING

this progressive rock piece,
actually has NO piano part at all!
but i re-arranged the whole piece,
that it sounds so drama-mama. hahah.
wonderful la.. just a pity, i din had time to add in keyboard string parts.

this song is actually super shiok to listen,
u listen already u feel like listening again,
arrangement is not bad, u listen already u feel damn high one.

but as compared to Ai Ru Chao Shui,
Ai Ru Chao Shui would have more things to show,
its arrangement would be much more dramatic and interesting
as compared to Ling.
Ling is just a prog. rock which hear already will feel damn high.
especially my arrangement.

OKAY FINISH EXPLAINING THE SONGS,
now lets move on to problems before my recital!!

4weeks before my recital,
i had myself very busy with Fusion Workshop too.
had a few sessions of jamming, but cos of irresponsible players who dont turn up for jammings again and again, we couldnt get everything in place.
a big thank you to Jarrell bro who helped us for Fusion,
and committing to practices! wonderful! thanks bro, even if u may not see this.

for my recital,
i've not even formally jammed once!!
still doing arrangements and writings.

3weeks before my recital,
we jammed fusion again, but had alot of problems.
Devi, my used to be bestie became super temperamental, and a lil hard to work with her, she's still my bestie, just that i sort of find it hard to work with her.
i shan't elaborate more.

for my recital,
my guitarist and bassist played me out.
guitarist was very irresponsible, no offence,
he's quite an okay friend, but... no discipline la.. sigh.
meet 2pm for jamming 1to1, he came at 3pm.
bassist, was very very busy, cant really blame him,
but i felt really pissed somehow too, cos he last minute said this,
"Is it possible to find another bassist for now?"
grrrr. he's a really nice fella, but. i went like super sians when i heard this.

my drummer, Joseph, he's a B-L-O-O-D-Y good drummer la...
i worked with him last semester,
he can tell me ALMOST ALl styles of drumming,
cha cha, tango, rhumbaa, r&b, bossa, jazz..
almost everything he does it so wonderfully!
he's really very versed in all, just that a lil problem with attitude.
very minor, but still abit. hahah. he's just so wonderful.

anyway, yar, he helped me out,
he got his band members, to help me out.
all from the same level as me,
just that i dont really click with them.
but i very very surprised, they were so steady,
joseph asked them to help me, they readily agreed. -___-"
was super worried they'd be hard to work with,
cos my impression of them is like, they're super stucked up. lol.

but well, we had our 1st jamming in school.
i think it was also because my choice of songs, which they decided to help me out.
after some understanding,
i realise they want to expose to more kinds of music.

2weeks before my recital,
wenwen and i had a major tiff, and we decided we needed a break,
i was the one who requested for it,
cause i needed it so badly, all my exam stuffs werent complete,
i jammed only once with my band.

for my recital,
i jammed a 2nd time with the band,
and added my solo on Ai Ru Chao Shui last minute.
as i thought the idea of that solo would be good!

1week before my recital
lets move on to what happened 1 week before my recital.
5 days before my recital, i misplaced my ENTIRE music file,
of which contained all my music arrangements for Fusion Workshop,
my music scores of which i wrote so neatly and detailed-ly for my exam,
my theory assignments, my aural lesson's work.
EVERYTHING GONE!!

why?
i sleep very late almost every night 1week before the recital,
every night so tied down with work.
dat when im in the bus to school, i fell aslp in de bus,
and rushed down anxiously when i reached school,
and left de file on board... sigh.

oh wells,
i had to RE-WRITE EVERYTHING..
thank goodness i made it in time.
jammed twice this week before the exam.

RECITAL TIME!
my heart was fast beating before the recital,
infact, 1 day before the exam my heart was beating fast.
but when i went in, everything was alright already.
i really dread walking into the auditorium for such exams.
my last semester was technical-based,
i came out of de auditorium, holding back tears..
and finally brokedown when i saw darling wenwen.

well.. the recital was alright,
just that when they hit the last song, Ling.
we only went through half de song,
was so HIGH, about to go into the piano solo and guitar solo,
we got cut halfway by Ms Mona, our examiner,
as i exceeded time limit,
alot of de band members were quite offended by it.
its like, 15mins shld be taken as a guideline, not a rule..
they felt that its quite rude to cut a band playing like that.
well.. mona didnt care i guess.

but i think half de song, was already powerful enuf to convince the examiners,
my back was facing the examiners, didnt get to see their expressions,
but Isaac, my keyboardist said that, they were nodding their head.
and to see someone like Mona nod her head... its like... hahaha fweaking rare. -_-"

okieeee. wonderful!
a great experience! i love it!
Isaac even commented that my arrangement of Ai Ru Chao Shui was more happening than the Live Version of Jacky Cheung's Ai Ru Chao Shui. =D

i swear i'll make the next recital a even more happening one!

2days later, i heard from kelvin,
that Mona told a few guys that my recital was one of de best in de level.
because a person asked her bout it,
and she mentioned 3 groups that did well.
"Rossi, Shane and Rizzal"

WAH. WONDERFUL LAAAA. IM SO HAPPY.

fully acrylic cage, very impressive, though done with alot alot of flaws.

just on the condition that i feedback the person every month,
on de condition of the cage.

top cover can be slided out to bring ur hamsters out easily.

i decided to design a D.I.Y playpen for wenwen!

could be arranged like this, leaning against de wall,

yup, can also be formed in a circle.

using the size of my FATTEST hamster, Yolk,
to showcase how big the playpen is.

ER HERMM!
after hours of hard work,
around 2-3hours of designing,
and gathering of waste material from my corridor.
i made a really good down to earth playpen!!
this is the final design.

its beautiful and sweet isnt it? =D
too bad its no longer with me.
gave to darling already.

found this piece of card board in de computer part box as well.
and decided to make full use of it.
covering the top of the playpen with it will...

went to check on the babies there. O_O

this is XiaoXue's first batch of babies!
notice that the winterwhite babies,
have extremely light fur on their head!

this is Pootoo & Snowtoo's batch!
man, i was really right about Pootoo.
when Pootoo was a baby, he was the orangest
among all of Wenter and Torter's litter.
he was also the ONLY male pudding,
thus i decided to keep him,
both Pootoo and Snowtoo were carefully chosen by me,
to grow up and breed nice babies!
and true enough,
look at their offspring! the puddings are extremely orange!
one of a kind!
im so glad. ^^

2nd semester, 1st fusion workshop!

shane's getting so many pimples lately. so sad. =(
guess what..

THE FIRST FUSION WORKSHOP OF SEMESTER 2 WAS A SUCCESS!!

had only 3days to arrange it.
very glad to come up with this piece.
the piece is Over The Rainbow.
a very classic piece.

rearranged it to have jazzy parts.
im so happy la! i can play simple jazz style on piano!
maybe not very good, (trying to be humble LOL)
but.. de least people can tell its jazz,
and one of de seniors thought i was a jazz student. =D

a new achievement for me.
i learnt new chord progressions again.
very beautiful ones.
another new achievement!

im so happy laaaaa. =D
but im stressed until whole face all pimples already. =(

anyway, de arrangement was really great!
isaac played de drums, i taught him to play de simple jazz beats.
yup! it was professional but simple.
iris and kelvin on de violins filling in de improvisation.
actually in my opinion, de violins were unneeded,
but those were de best instruments they can play,
other than a flute, marimba, or another piano.
i rather have 2 violins u see.

the style's and arrangement was really great i thought!
for de 2nd time im so proud of my arrangement.
the first arrangement i was proud of was when i helped Devi's group to perform.

back then we had a really good drummer with us,
Joseph, who offered to help.
this time round, we didnt ask him for help, cant ask him everytime yar?
yuppp! the arrangement was great,
if we had better drummer, or given more time,
i'd surely wrote better parts for the violins.

classically trained vocalists always have beautiful voices!
and it was a challenge for her too,
she was classically trained, yet sang pop and jazz this time according to my arrangement.
she did really well! im so proud of you my sister! =D
everytime devi sings, we all enjoy what we play. ^^

im so sorry, i havent had the time to update with pictures,
but why not spend this time to update you guys,
with whats happening in my life lately.

okay.. school started last week,
and this semester im gonna be SO super duper busy!!
very very stressed too.

one of whats stressing me out is my Main Study Exam.
main study exam last semester is technical based,
means playing scales, arpeggios, and of course sight reading.
however, main study exam this semester is RECITAL based.
recital means like a performance.

yup, so, as im in the Pop stream,
Pop's exam is very subjective,
unlike classical students who HAVE to performed solo,
we can choose to either perform solo,
play and sing, or even perform as a group!
but the requirements,
is that we've to choose songs frm different decades,
example, 70s, 80s, 90s.

thats where i suck at it.
im so chinese pop, Jpop,
that firstly, i dont know much bout english pop,
nor do i know bout the previous decades of english pop.
apart from that,
2 has to be Upbeat, and 1 has to be a Ballad.

i actually decided 2 songs,

Zhang Xin Zhe - Ai Ru Chao Shui
Forbidden City Theme - My Only Chance

however,
both are considered ballads,
thus i took My Only Chance away,
and decided upon Ai Ru Chao Shui.

have 2 more upbeat songs to go.
so.. yar im stucked. save me please.
my main study teacher recommended me this song.

another one adding on to my stress load is the Music Project.
Darren Moore, the pop stream in charge,
group students of the various levels (foundation, level1, level2, level3)
together and gave us 2 pieces to perform.
perhaps u're blur about the various levels,
so let me elaborate more.

Year 1 - (FOUNDATION)
Year 2 - (LEVEL 1)
Year 3 - (LEVEL 2) DIPLOMA YEAR.
Year 4 - (LEVEL 3) DEGREE YEAR.

yup, so im working with a whole load of other pop students,
all my seniors, a lil stressed though.
but there's this particular senior which i've heard of her name many times.

she's Jessica.
we both have the same Main Study teacher.
she's in LEVEL 3, also a Pop Pianist like me.

last year's Pop Concert in lasalle,
she performed a few of her originals,
which was a fairly simple composition,
but very captivating with its melody and harmonies.

so.. yar larh,
im only year 1, she's year 4,
same stream, same instrument,
when i knew i was working with her,
i felt kinda stressed somehow you see.
as there're 3 keyboardists including me,
and she's the oldest one and ONLY one doing her degree year,
if im not wrong.. yup.

but today,
we had our first session of unofficial jamming.
only gathered, discussed, and figured out chords.
this 2 songs chosen by Darren Moore,
were RadioHead tracks, no joke.
when you listen to the songs you'll go like....

"WTH!! what kinda song is this."

those 2 songs werent melodious at all,
all gloomy gloomy with alot of effects.
its really something very new to me,
when i listened, i was like... how am i gonna figure this. -_-"

well okay,
so, side by side i sat with Jessica,
and we started figuring the chords.

hey, this is where im HAPPY about. =p
well prissy and xm will know that i often listen to songs,
and get chords very fast, even when i face trouble,
i may take some time, but in de end i still come up fairly fast for de chords.

but hey, these 2 songs which Darren Moore picked are no joke,
you can go try.. damn, its like.. catch no ball at all.
but guess whattttttttttttttttttt!!!!

damn! i love my ears.
i figured rather accurate,
even more accurate than Jessica.
okay.. not trying to be proud here or show off,
but... yar lar, im just very very happy for my ears you know? ^^

there were times, she said she heard some other notes,
but after replaying the track and playing together to show her,
she was convinced after all.
MAN. people pleasee praiseeee meeee, make me happy can? ^___^

i think she shld be rather surprised for my aural skills,
cos even i myself, never thought i can figure such gloomy song,
which so much effects and noisy background.

okay lar,
but i'd wanna bring back my point that im not trying to show off or something,
because all musicians have their good points and bad points,
like some can be good technical wise,
some can be good at song writing,
some good at aural skills,
some good at playing. blabla...

BUT YESSS!
im just sharing joy with you guys yes?
de least im not so stressed now,
because i know my aural skills are on a par with a LEVEL 3 student,
or even more accurate to a certain extend.
but of course, u all shld know where my weak points are yar? sigh.

HAHA, but still.... gimme a word of encouragement please..
as... im overjoyed!! =D

so... yar, these few days,
i'll be very very busy,
transcribing scores for my Music Project for my seniors,
writing and arranging scores for my Main Study Exam,
(we need to hand up the score to the examiner before performing)

still need to write and arrange strings orchestra parts for Isaac,
as im asking him to play as my keyboardist.

well.. u probably can see how busy i am,
because apart from NORMAL school timetable,
still have to find time to meet up and jam with my Recital people,
who's gonna perform with me for my Main Study Exam.
and still have to find time to meet up and jam with my seniors,
for the Music Project.
and i still have to arrange time for my own practise. =((
i've already arranged a timetable.

Lindsay, our HOD says we've to spend at least
4-8hours of practise everyday.
i think we've to do it too, because after all,
we ARE full time musicians. geeeeee....
so much so much so much time,
and so busy so busy so busy scheduleeeeee.
cannot meet wenwen liao. =((

WHATS MORE?!
in July 07, my electone mates and i,
are gonna have a HUGE MAJOR Yamaha concert.
which will involve the music side, music performances,
and also the dance side, probably the ballet people performing.

man, i tell you, i sort of like and also dont like the arrangement.
Mr Tan really have high expectations of me.
he actually put me the LAST ITEM of the concert,
and im gonna SING SOLO !!
arghhhh.. this is the first time,
and guess what, while singing,
im gonna have dancers on the stage dancing while im singing too.

really larh.. i really dont think im up to it.
my vocal is not up to standard la.. sigh.
to arrange such a performance for me,
is like... too much for me you know.
im gonna sing in front of hundreds,
and maybe a few thousand people?
depends on how many sits the auditorium will have.
wwwahhh.. kills me laaaa. omg......

i'll definitely help you with the Lao Shu Ai Da Mi song if i can. =]

i had to resort to using 4 compartments for a 2feet tank,
because suddenly 2 pairs of hamsters started fighting,
so.. yup, had to separate them like that, a lil cramped,
but since its 1 hamster per compartment, it isnt that bad. =]

Cream will always be remembered in our hearts.
i can only diagnose her death has old age and hard labour.
as she gave birth to only 1 baby, 1 day before she left us.

met darling went out! and.. she made lunch for me!
from leftovers from her sister's bday bbq. LOL.
doesnt matter lar. not bad try darling!! =P
fried chicken fillets and hotdogs topped with BBQ sauce,
egg with cheese, served with rice. not a bad try darling. ^_^v

NOV 30th !!

this day, had band camp for Ping Yi,
so i went back as alumni to join them.
was late night ard 2am,
bought cup noodles @ 7-11,
and went to Yan Yu Bro's house for a bath and supper.

after bath, i asked him for a mirror,
and guess what he gave me?

i was like WTH, when i only asked for a mirror, a small one will do. -___-"
humourous fella. LOL. thats why he's always my best brother since sec school.

EXAM RESULTS!

HO HO HO!!
shane has been working doubly hard lately!

since he started learning the song
"That's What Friends Are For" on last sunday's lesson.
every night for the past 4 days (monday to thursday),
including sunday night, he has been practising it!

shane is working very hard on sight reading!!

for today, the time now is 3.34AM.
and shane just finished sight-reading and playing the whole score of
"We Are The World" ,
which is of quite a tough standard for himself.

however, shane is really in very jumpy mood now,
BECAUSE HE DID IT!!

HE JUST SPENT 1HOUR 10MINS JUST TO SIGHTREAD
THAT BLOODY SCOREEEEE !!!

oh yes, its quite a super super long time,
but HE OVERCAME IT!
his worst fears and something he hated de most,
SIGHT READING, HE DID IT !!!

thus, shane is very very jumpy mood now.
superly duperly hyper nowwww,
very happy that he actually did it.

WOULD U ALL PLEASE GIVE SHANE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE??
to PRAISE him for overcoming his fear.
he now thinks that sight reading isnt that bad after all.

actually you know. i thought i failed 3 and passed only 1.
however THANK GOD. the passing mark is 40.
so i passed all.
there's no doubt my T.T and P.A is bad,
because i didnt really study much bout that.

u know, stage have different kinda curtains.
some curtains open sideward, some is lifted up. blabla.

as i didnt bring my logbook,
and also flunk the exam really bad.
this is really expected.
as a self-taught pianist, i had NEVER had technical training before.
technicals are like scales, arpeggios all these.
thus.. when i stepped into the exam room,
they assessed me like im a Classical Pianist.
they dont care one. sighhhh. i flunk it really bad.

2) ENSEMBLE. 29/100

this actually includes 2 ensembles.
1 is actually Choir. the other is Gamelan. (indo-java instruments)
so upon 50 each.
since de beginning till de end of the semester,
i've only been to Gamelan twice. -___-"
i cant catch, and no interest ah. OOPS. =x
thus i only got the choir marks. -__-"

3) Concert Attendance. 50/100

every tuesday, we'll have concerts in the auditorium.
sometimes is performed by our teachers, lecturers,
sometimes is by our music seniors,
or once in awhile, by people of our foundation year.
and alot of times, inviting people from outside to perform.
sometimes EVEN inviting reputable performing bands.
and professors from france and other countries.
this local jazz professor performed before.
his name is Jeremy Monteiro. he's really good!

OKAY BACK TO TOPIC.
of the so many so many concerts,
we're required to highlight 5, and write and overview of the concert.
like is the player playing in time.
what genre of music is he performing,
what kinda elements he use.. blabla.
so yes. i got 50/100. just passed for this sub-module.

4) AURAL 75/100

this submodule,
i very very surprisingly got so high.
i have been struggling alot with intervals.
and also melodic dictation. like they play you 2-4bars,
with left and right hand parts,
and you're supposed to write out what they play.
yeah.. i've been struggling.
never did i think i'd get so high.
the rhythm part, i'm very sure i got full marks.
thank god i was a percussionist. ^_^

5) MUSIC THEORY 51/100

this one is abit disappointing.
i thought i've always been doing quite average.
like 60plus 60plus each time..
weird.. abit disappointing that i only got 51/100 . T_T

6) MUSIC & COMPUTERS ?? 64/100

dont ask me, im not even sure what module is this.
i thought this module is only for Music Technology students.
dont know why does it appear in my result slip. -_-"

7) KEYBOARD SKILLS 57/100

this one also abit disappointing.
Philip Tan our lecturer said my other components was very strong,
other than sight reading which was really really bad.

never thought sight reading could cause me to get less than 60 marks.

yup.. thats all.. so the OVERALL is a 48/100.
sad. luckily the passing mark is 40,
so i passed.. gee.

I WILL WORK HARD!
FOR HIS DREAM, HIS PASSION.
SHANE WILL WORK DOUBLY HARD NXT SEMESTER !!

Creative Band Competition

1st thing i wanna say is.

CONGRATULATIONS TO PING YI MILITARY BAND!
FOR EMERGING CHAMPION FOR CREATIVE BAND COMPETITION,
WITH A HIGH SCORE OF 84% !!

i think previously when de combined band of pingyi springfield,
TITANS MILITARY BAND, competed in the National Band Competition.

we also emerged 1st place for our division!
only for our division that is.
our music is still nowhere compared to TKGS,
or ACS. or whichever band.

but whats heartening, is from an OUTDOOR band,
to an INDOOR competition, we could still clinch a 1st for our division.
all credits to Mr Poh, for bringing us this far. =]

time really flies, he started taking us in 2003, when he was only 18.
now he's 21. cool eh?

ALRIGHT.
move on the nxt part.
the DISAPPOINTING part.

i am so so so so so so disappointed. =(
cos after going to bandcamp for 3 days.
maybe if plus and minus de hours, only 2 days,
but ONLY on de last day, den i found out.....
Creative Band Competition is NOT opened to public. =((

but.. oh wells.
overall, i must say. i had a great time with the band.
its great being back there, telling the juniors whats good whats not good.
as i haven been going back there for quite some time.
initially i didnt want to voice out much,
because i didnt frequent the band often,
and maybe some people may feel i dont have the rights to do so.

but oh wells, on de last day when mr poh wasnt there in de morning,
left with syafiq and felix taking them,
i decided to help them out.

its great teaching once again!
qamar bro went back take part and join as well.
because i pick things up faster, i taught him some parts which he couldnt catch.
simply reminds me of the 2002, 2003 days.
where i usually share and teach my members.
i miss band life. especially in my secondary school days.
haha. i miss that group of people who made my band days so fun.

darling came over to help me changed all my hamster beddings
and washed all my tanks and cages. =D

look at that! 4 tanks,
1 big cage, 2 small cages and 1 pail. so many right. O_O
thanks darling for coming over!
doing it myself will last ard 6hours 30mins.
she came over. and the time reduced EXACTLY by half.
we finished with 3hours 15mins exactly! haha. =]

this is the HUGE amount of bedding i clear,
each time i change.
its around 4-5kg. thats so much bedding used each time!

NOV 2nd !!

have you seen even hamsters like Winter Whites with different tones?
hamsters like Puddings, usually show the tonal disparity very clearly,
most of the time its either LIGHT coloured, or DARK coloured or normal.
but a hamster like the DARK BROWN winterwhite,
has different tones and fur coat too!

these are the pictures of the 2 winterwhites.
can really see a very clear distinct difference between them.
the one on the left is a PURE winterwhite.
the one on the right is a winterwhite with NO winterwhite genes.
its parents are actually a Pudding and Pearl White.
so how he came along, probably gotta look back the family line.
like his grand parents or great-grandparents probably had WW genes. =]

another very major difference is on the side fur coat.

this is the sideview of of a PURE winterwhite.
its usually very messy and is usually tinted
light brown fur below its tummy.

these 2 pictures are the sides of the other winterwhite.
which has a WHITE belly,
and de line between its brown fur and white fur,
is very clean.

sighhhh.
i overlooked it.
1 of my Robo died after bath.

i gave it a box as a 'coffin'.

i can only see his death as old age.
because for all my other 6 robos,
i bathed them, nothing happened,
cos i know they're only around 2-3months old.

this boy here, are the robos adopted from aunt doris.
which i dont know how old it is larh..
cos even aunt doris doesnt know.
he's quite big sized.. so i can only deduce that he's quite old..
died of old age, cant take baths.. sigh.
im sorry boy.. was my negligence.

on this day,
darling and i went to Choa Chu Kang's FARMART.
its a mini pet farm.
REALLY mini. -__-"
there were only 3 goats there.
and other small animals such Rabbits,
hamsters, bullfrog, crabs and guinea pigs i think.
too bad they were ALL caged and fenced up!

there's this mini 'pond' there for people to fish.

performance update.

performance yesterday was TOTALLY screwed.
just as screwed as im feeling now. totally.

happily, priscilla and i,
went parkway kbox. practise practise practise.
from 3pm all the way to 5.15pm.
went up yamaha, found out the karaoke CD was MISSING.

.... screwed..
was ALREADY very very upset.
i decided to cab back, but on my way back,
the driver told me, i may not make it to KOVAN in time,
if i went home to get my stuff, den go down to KOVAN again.
so..... i decided to turn back all the way back to parkway again.

bloody hell.. just less than 10minutes in the cab,
cost me $6.40 .. what the...
because Mr Tan would be fetchin us,
so i went back to parkway.

GUESS WHAT?
despite being so flustered and upset already,
i went back to parkway, ONLY to find out that the peeps HAVE LEFT !!!

my ELECTONE piece, Kill Bill, was played and executed with my re-arranged parts.
practically NEARING perfect.

this is the first time, i really did put aside all emotions,
and indulge myself with my music,
performing the piece to its best.

this is something,
i'm very very proud of myself.

crap.. i just wanna say my mood was really really bad.
but still i did overcome this barrier,

they're both white, maybe the pearlpudding SLIGHTLY tinted yellowish.
but how to differentiate, is the dorsal line.
pearl white has a black dorsal line,
while the pearl pudding has an Orange dorsal line.

this is REALLY a big load to sell.. geeee.

back in july, i accompanied her to get her hamsters, cages and everything,
because she said her son was interested to get hamsters.
so yar, i received this back in october.
means that her son probably lost interest,
and she didnt had the time to take care.

the hamsters were adopted by wenwen. =]

Marian's a really nice lady. got to know her in July.
these 6 babies consists of 2 puddings, 2 pearl puddings, 1 pearlwhite & 1 sapphire.
the total cost added up to $91.
but i promised her to give her a good price. $76.

i traded these 6 hamsters with this DREAM CAGE OF MINE !!

i had my main study exam today...
its the first time i took an exam, and walked out wanting to cry so badly.
yes, so what if im 18 and im a guy.
no one will understand how much music means to me.
its my life, its in my blood,
its as if my only means to live on.
everywhere i go, i make music.
everywhere i go, i hear music.

sigh... okay.. wont go on.
main study exam is a CONFIRMED fail.

firstly because i forgot to bring my LOGBOOK, which records down all the main study lessons which u had with your mainstudy teacher, what u've learnt, how to improve on, everything is included inside, so i forgot to bring it.

secondly, i WAS TOLD, that i can play at my free timing and tempo as long as its not TOO slow, however, when i went into the room, Tim O'dwer and Darren Moore gave me a tempo which is like quite slow, BUT playing semiquaver notes. thank goodness i practise my scales at quite a fast speed. but what killed me was arpeggios. worst thing is, when u request for 1 more time, they dont allow you to do so. wrong means wrong. how can i play arpeggios so fast when im only given 2months to learn everything... its too much for me...

i was even told i can play at a comfortable speed..
sigh.. out of 10, i probably had 2 perfect, 4slipped badly and the rest flunk.

i was feeling pretty nervous when waiting outside.
because it's after all my FIRST technical exam, which tests scales and arpeggios..
when i went in, and did so many slips, i just cant help but sigh to myself.

in my life, i had NEVER fear exams..
even when i know i didnt prepare, and will definitely do badly, like my O levels,
i'd still go into the examination room and do my best with no regrets.

i really did so much preparation this time..
i really did... every sunday's electone lesson,
i'd isolate myself in a room, and practise all my scales and arpeggios.
when i've spare time, or breaks in between lessons in school,
i'd practise so hard until my mind cant concentrate,
practise so hard until my eyes feels like shutting, and still go on.

im really defeated by this exam.
its my first exam which i feel so defeated...
despite practising so hard, i felt everything was in vain.
i couldnt even achieve a pass.. its 90% a fail for that im sure.
im helpless.. totally helpless.
that i had to hold back my tears

what can i say...
other than hold my tears until i leave the auditorium.

just nice when i needed somebody u were there.
just nice. luckily i told u to come today,

i really never thought it could be this bad..

OCTOBER 7th CELEBRATION!

OCTOBER 7th !!

one day after my birthday,
a saturday was when wenwen and i really celebrated. =]
we went to the Pasir Ris Farmway's Pet Farms,
or rather, i looked up directions and brought her there. -_-"
shldnt it be the other way round since she's celebrating for me. LOL.

din really take alot of pictures,
because i think i wasnt supposed to.
but well, here goes.

its seriously a wrong idea to go there by foot,
u've to walk at least 1.5km+++ to get into there.

was rather bad that day,
it hit 150 that day. gee. O_O

there was this big boundary,
and there were like 10 Kennels,
what u see in this pic are only 4kennels.
there're ALL puppies inside.
simply so adorableeee! jack russels the size of errr...
a 500ml bottle, or even smaller !! so cute laaaa!
chihuahuas were a hot topic there too!

and amongst the doggy farms, there was 1 household staying there,
with more den 10 dogs. O_O
all malteses and terriers.

oh yes, not forgetting, wenwen made me a burger.
but she forgot to add any sauce to it,
which makes it a super plain chicken burger. HAHA,
but its alright, cos we went to buy de ketchup later. =p
thanks for being so sweet darling. =D

so we spent ard 2hours ++ at that petfarm walking walking walking!
so when we walked all de way out, was ard 6plus already.
we decided to walk on, and we found Pasir Ris West Plaza.
or whatever the name of it is.
quite a rundown lousy complex. -__-"

but yeah, we bought some sparklers and candles there,
and tada, headed down to Pasir Ris Park !!

baobei was like getting so annoyed and fascinated
by those beach bugs which was like jumping around on de sand.
HAHA. still cant forget she keeps trying to burn them, but to no avail,

she absent herself 2 weeks le, due to exams.

**psst. once again, this is NOT ADVISED.
as Roborovskiis and WinterWhites are EXACTLY 2 different breeds,
with different temperaments, characters and lifestyles.
and they'd DEFINITELY fight if you house 2 adult robo and ww together.
thus it is STRONGLY not advised to do so.
only because i've so many hamsters, i know what i can do,

habitrail mixed food on its own,

is not a very good mix, as the sunflower seeds are minimal.

thus i bought another pack of sunflower seeds to boost up the seeds in the mix.

one bad thing bout habitrail food,
is that its extremely powdery.

this is after mixing, u can see how HUGE an amount it is. O_O

packed up, in 3 containers! so much!

update FUSION + POP CONCERT!

it was our THIRD Fusion Workshop yesterday.
this time YongLin's the leader.
hahaha.
our group has ALWAYS been different.

everyone performs their pop and rock songs.
however, we've always been special,
like for consequetive 2times, we've been playing Disney's Ballads.
like during my time was A Whole New World,
and during Juliany's time was Beauty And The Beast.

guess what YongLin came up with this time?
LOL. Singapura Medley !! LOL !!

there was the "Stand Up For Singapore" intro,
followed by a famous chinese oldie, "Ye Lai Xiang".
then nxt up was "Bengawan Solo",
and then a Drum Solo,
and then last piece was "Chan Mali Chan",
followed by my Clavinova Solo to end off the piece.

YongLin's really crazy larh. LOL.
and guess what?
we din even had any REHEARSALS at all!
only last minute one in de morning 9-11am at Clarke Quay.
but YongLin has written a simple score for the pianists.
and then and then, these few days we've been working the piece out.
thanks to me too. =xxxx HAHA.

yupppp! we only rehearsed and practised during that time.
LOL! so last minute right? blame YongLin not me!

we met at 8.30, but i 6.30 must wake le.
so we jammed till 11, went to Plaza Singapura for Lunch,
den went back to school for fusion!

uh huh. fusion was great!
was abit weirddd. but then still okay.
oh yes!
since that time the "Beauty and the Beast",
i was saying i'll upload yet i stil didnt.
give me some time yar guys? i'll do so soon!

there's this group that did No Doubt's "Dont Speak".

after fusion, i stayed in sch for 3hours 30mins,
den went to the POP concert from 6-9.
damn it, i tell you, it was GREAT LA!

during the period of 2.30 - 6,
i slacked in sch. shooooper boring!
i slept for half an hour. shooooper tired.
hide behind a piano and sleep when i booked a room
to practise with jarrel and shaohui. LOL.

okay concert was held beside the school's canteen!
the amphitheatre!

yupp!
the first 1andhalf hour was boring.
until the stars of the pop concert appeared.
there's this girl, her name is Hui Min.
man.... this year february during Lasalle's Open House,
i went and saw her performing.
she left me a very lasting impression,
as she's petite and small in size,
with a BIG voice.

heard from Gina, a new friend of mine,
Hui Min's from Classical Stream doing Vocal,
what does that mean? means singing OPERA.
yes, it irks us when we talk bout opera,
BUT, god, their voices are SUPERB.

Huimin sang a few pop songs,
and also a few sentimental ballads.
including a duet with her boyfriend Joe.
man.. JOE HAS A GREAT VOICE TOO!!!

well..
somehow.. how i wished i came into lasalle last year.
when huimin went up to perform,
u could practically see 20-30 ppl standing behind,
forming a row, and swaying with the music left to right,
cheering and screaming after the song has finished,
and creating ALL the fun.

they're all LEVEL1 students.
lasalle's grouped into 4 levels.
1st year - Foundation
2nd year- Level1
3rd year- Level2 (Diploma year)
4th year- Level3 (Degree year)

yupp.
these group of students are all super supportive and nice!
though i dont know them, but how i wished i was in their group,
man, they make every moment of the concert enjoyable,
its them who created the ambience of a pop concert with their cheers,
with their actions and stuffs.

yeahh!
those are really great people to be with!
lindsay was invited to sing too!
Lindsay's the head of the Music department.
man. pop is POP after all.

u know, everything was DONE on the spot.
even lindsay's song, Close To You, by blabla carpenters.
was done last minute on the stage!
and that guitar fella, who's a repeat foundation student,
practically improvised and played his solo on de spot!
crazy.....

their standard of improvising is really nuts.
really free and easy with no restrictions.
same for me, however once u change the key, i may have a problem.

well...
im still considering if i shld go take Jazz.
not sure... need some help.
because practically what Belinda, my main study teacher is teaching,
i already know, and thus she once advised me to try taking LEVEL1.
but i wasnt confident.
means while most of my peers finish their Diploma in 3 years,
i finish and get my Degree in 3years.
while most guys finish a Diploma before going NS,
i finish with a DEGREE before going NS.

yes yes, who doesnt want that?
but... im afraid i cant cope only.
pop-wise i really know quite alot,
like chords, chimology chords, and improvising.. yup!
thus... im still considering... =]

cos back then in 2003 and 2004,
i often mention in my old blog about Cheryl.

well.. Cheryl's actually my Godsis.
still remember i got to knew her in a very unique way,
back then it was 2003 november-december. somewhere ard there.
then.. she was just a little girl pri 6 back then.
she was being bullied by a sec1 gangster boy in my school at blk63's bball court.
the court which was behind ping yi sec.

den Yan Yu bro was with me playing ball back then.
we sort of saw it, and felt VERY offended.
cos that boy, by the name of Yong Chen, was like trapping her at one corner of the court,
and practically repeating this words,

"gei wo ni de hao ma leh.. gei wo leh" (give me your number leh, give me leh..)

super desperate lar that fella.
so.. feeling offended, yan yu bro and i confronted him.
that was how Cheryl got 'saved' by us.
she was only p6 back then..
i got to know her in this unique special way.
which made me... dote on her alot. =]

of all my godsisters, Cheryl was the one,
whom i doted along as if she was my real blood sister.
she came to ping yi in 2004.
i watched her grow up.
watched how she mixed with her company of friends.
gave her loadsa advices, time to time checking on her.
nagging her to quit smoking and stuffs.

haa. the both of us are like..
each time we see each other in school back then,
we'd give each other a hug larh.
not in any flirtatious way or anything,
but becos yar, we're like that.
its like when u all girls, see your best friend outside,
and give your best friend a hug like that.
yupp. hugged little cheryl each time i saw her in school. =]

but after i found myself a gf, i never hugged cheryl anymore. =p
had to be sensitive towards dis kinda issue...

Cheryl.. she just turned 15 today. =]
and... she has quitted school early this year in March.
guess what happened to her? you guys will never know..

Cheryl is now a mother of 3month baby boy, Darryl Tay Zhan Xing.

its very surprising how things changed isnt it?
ever since i graduated from ping yi,
cheryl and i dont contact much as often,
i also hardly see her online, each time i see her online,
i'd just chat with her, but thats like so seldom,
past 3 months, i havent seen her online. no chance to catch up.

since mid year last year,
or even earlier, Cheryl's been telling me her bf,
a 22year old guy, just keeps hitting her all the time.
u know.. somehow now, i kinda regret.
i never had the intention to break couples up.
i felt offended back then, but because it was their own problem,
i could only advise...

i know its no point blaming myself now,
but if back then, i ADVISED her to break up with this 22year old bf,
things wouldnt turn out this way today..

this morning, when i woke up,
i look at the date, den i thought, god its september 17th already.
tmr's gonna be Cheryl's birthday.
so i asked Baobei Wenwen, to ask her friends to get Cheryl's contact,
cos i lost her contact..

yup, on the bus to parkway for lesson today,
baobei wenwen told me what her friend told her,
that cheryl's with a baby aged 3months old..
and i was like..... shocked? taken back?
more of what i was feeling was....
more of .. depressed. and upset...

she's only a girl aged 14++ back then,
turned 15 today..
and the past 1 year, must have been hard on her.
especially when Cheryl's such a small sized girl,
only ard height of 148cm? around there..
i really cannot imagine her with her big tummy.. can u?

sigh... i was so shocked and taken aback,
that tears just came to my eyes...
i felt really... helpless.
especially each time when i have the chance to catch up with her,
she'd tell me "dun worry korkor, my bf respects me alot."
i even warned her that the mentality of 20year olds and girls her age are different.
i've even ruled out the possiblility that she has gone through sexual intercourse already.
so there was once i asked her,

"mei ah.. are u stil holding on to your 'v'?"

she replied yes she was..
and told me not to worry..

sigh....
i dont know larh.
why tell me all these?
she obviously din want me to worry,
thus din tell me everything..
or maybe she din bother to let me know?
but she knows how much i cared for her larh.. sigh.

i just called her just now to wish her happy birthday.
she talked so normally like there's no burden or anything..
i kept saying "zhe ji ge yue, xin ku ni le mei."
and she'd tell me "mei you ah, wo jue de hen xin fu."
meaning, "this few months has been hard on you."
but she told me "nah, i feel very blessed now."

mei ah mei...
thruout the whole conversation of around 50mins,
we were like.. nothing to say nothing to say.
only catching up and nagging her.
i felt really weird talking to her now..
she's a mother now.

but i really nagged at her alot. haha..
like asking her to change her lifestyle and habits.
she's still as nonchalent as ever.
could be a good thing, could also be vice versa.

i somehow feel that i fail being a godbro.
even MAJOR thing.. she hid it from me, and i dint know anything at all,
until today, den i found out everything..

haa.
i wish i could help her out as much as i can now.
i even asked her if her parents take care of the baby,
she said no. the baby is FULLY taken care by her..
because she's single parent, and her parent works.
how can a girl her age get stucked to such burden.. it sucks..

staying at home everyday to look after her child.
even if she wants to go out, she has to bring her child out..
it must really be hard on her..

i've decided,
im gonna do whatever i can within my ability to help her. =]
can u guys, sell me some DVDS of nice movies you dont want?
she stays at home most of the time,
i wanna get her DVDS to watch. =]

woke up at 5.30am just now..
only slept ard 2.50am, was busy with hamster stuffs..
well.. yup.

prepared breakfast for darling..
din want her to go band on an empty stomach.
second time doing something so sweet for her.

3 with seafood egg mayonaise.
3 standard hamburgers, well thats what i call it.
haa..

sliced sausages, tomato, cabbage and egg.
topped with bbq sauce, which is not in the picture.
its simply yummy!

woke darling up with a morning call ard 6.35am,
however, only managed to meet her at 7.15am.
went over to bedok cc, 2stops after her place.
and tada, yupp.. we ate breakfast there.
eeee. she like never show any signs as if she's touched. =((
it was a surprise u know. =((((

we ate. yupp. was a short.. but lovely 20mins together.

the babies are much bigger than those which XiaoHei gave birth to,
on day1 of their lives, the babies are like standard baby size.
weird, because when XiaoHei gave birth,
her babies are like SO SMALL, because XiaoHei herself's not fully grown.
just like now in SnowBell's case.
she's not fully grown too. but how come the babies are like..
standard baby size, as if SnowBell has had many litters before. =/

these 4 babies are XiaoHei's babies!
those which i put in the tank with the other 3 sapphires.
in the pic above, there's 3winterwhites and 1sapphire.
able to tell the difference ? haha. some of you may not see it.

the 3 winterwhites are together, the sapphire's the odd one out.

SEPT 13th !!

i switched this pair over to the pail,
becos snowbell's gonna give birth REALLY soon!
her tummy's much bigger den Nera.
im starting to suspect Nera and Yolk are both not pregnant. =((

this is pregnant mother SnowBell.

the hips and below area of a hamster,
is usually very swollen if she's pregnant.
pregnant and fat are TWO different things!
from the pictures, u'll see a young mother.
SnowBell's either around or less than 2 months old!
a very young mother indeed!
judging by the stomach size, a litter shld be expected
within the nxt 2-3days.

OH YES!
you guys remember XiaoHuo ?
the one i gave baobei wenwen and is paired up with Danter ?
yup! she has given birth on the 2nd September!

they're 6 baby sapphires!
very surprised!
stating an example ;
because even if both parents are Pearl Whites,
the babies that come out, on an average of 6,
there'd be AT LEAST 1 baby which is a WinterWhite Normal or Sapphire,
because the winterwhite gene is dominant.
however, in this case, i see 6 baby sapphires,
no winter whites at all. haha cool. =]
so... yes yes, i got 6 baby sapphires to sell. =]

this day, which was 2days back,
i helped Winda did a hamster package. =]
i've not done packages for sometime.
im glad i've business again. =]
thanks Winda!

her BF bought paid everything for her.
just like how i brought wenwen to choose her hamsters
back then in MAY this year.
still remember i spent up to $95
just to get everything for wenwen.
back then i still dont know much bout hamsters,
thus i spent so much money.
however, now i know where to get cheaper stuffs,
where got good stock, blablabla,
im able to give them a good price.

$60bucks, for 2 BABY hamsters (winterwhite&sapphire)
1pack of food which can last the 2 hamsters at LEAST 3-4weeks.
2pack of recycled paper bedding equivalent to a 6litre pack.
and of course the cage.

i've seen hamster packages outside in Pet Shops,
like Katong's Doggy Pawz, or Suntec's Pets Village,
and also Great World's Pets Kampong.
Price is $85 onwards.
i think $85 is for 1hamster,
$95and above is for 2hamsters.

hoho! now u see the good price im offering?
of course it also depends on the cage and hamsters u're getting from me.
like which cage, and which hamster.
i've LOADS of cages, brand new and 2nd hands for sale.

it was REALLY a big problem bringing the 35litre bedding back.
super super super tiring. walk few minutes put down,

its okay, but when u're practically applying strength on ONLY 1hand,
to carry it. okay, that sucks.
i actually put this whole pack on my shoulder and i walked back home,
with my other hand completely occupied with holding the cage,
smaller bedding and food and stuffs. really very very heavy. -_-"

this was the day i met wenwen up after my school.

a winter white hamster lightens its fur coat colour,
when its feeling cold?
of course its not really obvious,
but this day i really saw it. =]
they call it WinterWhites in Winter Coat.

(strongly not recommended for hamsters unless neccessary)

HAHA never thought hamsters look so ugly when wet eh?

he looks like a dirt Rat here. LOL.
while i was drying him with de hair dryer,
suddenly i thought that his fur look kinda bright.

SEPT 1st !!

we went jamming in de morning!
boy was the studio cool!
was super spacious and big!

den we went back school for fusion!

we celebrated Wivin and Iris's birthdays!
i feel its really cool, we're all schoolmates for less than 2months,
but actually someone is willing to fork out the money to buy a cake,

i met wenwen up, and we went to AMK,

SEPT 2nd !!

this was the day i met XM and Pris up,
to do Mr Tan's Teachers' Day card.
we went TM to gather our materials,
den we went to XM's place to do it.

XM at work.

XM and pris did the cover page,
i did whats inside, cos i was designing the inside's layout.

man, this took LOADS of time,
assuring the lines are evenly spread,
blablabla. cutting them out,
and pasting them on the black sheet.

so we din had time to finish it..
oh wells...

this was ALSO the day....
i ADOPTED 6more Roborovskiis !!
i dont know if was it impulsive or what,
but 6 was a big load!
still i took in.

i can really tell that this person really loves her Robos.
why?
just look at what she provided me with.
usually what people do,
is they give hamsters for adoption,
but they SELL their cage away.

but look what she provided me with,

an almost BRAND NEW Habitrail Safari cage,
WITH the bottle and food dish,
as the bottle and food dish doesnt come with the cage.

and another AB brand cage, which is of acceptable condition.

she even LABELLED the brands nicely for me. gee..
not forgetting...

the 4 female robos,

and 2 males.

FREE-OF-CHARGE !!

she even told me,
she had the cages washed,
and the bedding inside are new fresh bedding.
gawd. she's really going to this extend,
to make sure that her hamsters are well taken care of.

gee...
so that day... i took in 6more Robos,
i decided to change all of my hamsters beddings,
which i actually, started ard 8pm in de evening,
and finished only ard 2.30AM.
a bloody SIX hours, can u believe it ?!?
of course in between i had short meals and chatting online,
but 85% of the time i was doing my hamster stuffs.

its becos when u have SO many hamsters like me,
u really cannot afford to be dirty, or let anything stink,
otherwise everyone will complain and stuffs... gee.

well okay..
initially i put all 6 of them,
together with Roto & Roko,

in this small 1 feet tank,
gave them 3wheels to play.
but then later,
i thought that it was really small for EIGHT roborovskiis.

so i decided to move them
to the big blue sanko-wild cage, the one i designed to be 3storey.

and added another extra wheel for them.
they're probably enjoying life now. lol.
hmm...

they fought 2days later,
and left Roko and one more injured.
so i separated the 2 injured ones.

i cant even recognise who's who now!
there're just so many of them. -___-"

this is how messy my room is,
whenever i start changing bedding and washing and stuffs.

did some spraying to cover rusty grills,
as i wanna sell off all my 2nd hand cages,
in de nxt day entry, u'll see all my cages. =]

and i opened, wanting to take a few shots, but waked them all up.

XiaoHei has neglected her as the rest of the pups are already
so hyper and running around the tank already..

he/she was so weak..
and his/her body was really COLD..
taking its last breaths.. T___T

it didnt just die like that..
but it died a horrible death.

but i've showed 2 people this pic, and both cant tell.

my heart ached when i saw this happened.
its like day by day u're happy to see it living on..
blabla.. in de end it died off like this..
cant really blame XiaoHei,
as the baby really grew up looking different from the rest,
and XiaoHei must have seen it as a threat.

sigh.. was a bad experience.
but i guess its over. =]

SEPT 5th !!

my eyes were HURTING badly that day.
contact lens again.
after taking out, i still feel as if smth's stucked in my eye.
gee, that feeling sucks !!

u can probably see how dry my eye was,
it sucks! the pain....

i'll stop contact lens for 2weeks now..
and lets see how... T__T

we went bballing,
den we parted as i have school at 1pm.

then this day, he came my place again around 11am liddat.
then we parted, and he went home to take a bath,
i went school from 1-2pm,
after which we met again at parkway at 2.30pm
he agreed to help me carry tanks,
as im taking in 4more tanks. =]

AUGUST 20th !!

this was the day i brought wen's 3babies home,
because i was gonna sell them off. =]
they're really cute!

the pearl white's much older than them,
but just slightly bigger than them, also to be sold. =]

the pudding's..

while i was trying to get a picture to compare its size to my ring,

it started getting its head into my ring.
BOY DAMN IT I WAS SO SCARED LA!

i was so scared it'd get STUCKED in the ring.

thank goodness. it came off,
HAHA i worried for nothing actually.
cos it got in and got off really smoothly. =D

AUGUST 23rd !!

my smallest robo baby. =D

ohh, guys dont every try this.
Roborovskiis are a breed on their own,
dont ever attempt to put a WinterWhite with them.
the only reason why i did this, is because this little winterwhite
was being bullied time to time with its siblings.
and because they're still young, they wont fight. =]

oh by the way, the age gap between these 2 hamsters above,
are only 4days.
remember i mentioned that Roborovskiis are the smallest dwarf hamsters?
yup, u can probably see their difference in size.

the difference in size between my fattest and skinniest robo babies.

AUGUST 24th !!

xiaohei's pups at day 5. =D

AUGUST 25th !!

Nera gave birth !!
but... the babies didnt last..
not even one.. although i tried.

by the 3rd day, 3 babies were gone.
eaten up i guess. i've no choice,
but to take a gamble as i dont wan to lose de final baby.
so...
i transferred the final baby to XiaoHei,
let XiaoHei foster the child.

True enough, watching the baby survive,
day 1 passed, day2 passed, day 3,4 and 5 passed,
the baby survived,
until Day 9.....
i'll blog bout Day 9 as we move on.

when i reached home from sch that day.
the robos were slping, psst, take note of the adult robo,
he's named Roto by the way.
haha, one min he was in this position slping,
and de very nxt,

he was sleeping like this!!
90degree arched backward !!
what in de... LOL.
so cuteee...
but to my horror i saw somethin else.

i realised that Roko wasnt sleeping with the rest,
but was alone at one corner,
when i checked on her,
this is what i saw.

she had one patch of fur peeled off !
OUCH.....
my heart ached. .
immediately i separated them and disinfected the wound.

wonder why did they fight...
until now i still dont have the answer,
they've never fought before.
this is one of the worst fights.

AUGUST 26th !!

well well !!
26th august! THE BIG DAY !!
it was our Performance at Bukit Panjang Plaza.

i've blogged before bout it,

after 1day with XiaoHei,
its still alive !! 4 day old already. =D

as in blood DRIPPING immediately after getting bitten.

AUGUST 30th !!

Nera's baby surviving on the 2nd day with XiaoHei.
the other 4pups's fur coat are more obvious now,
i have 3 winterwhites, and 1 sapphire.

remember above i said that XiaoHei was a GOOD mother?

i shred some tissue for her,
and she made a NEST out of it.
as in really NEST !! so cool ! =D

god.. this pack of food is damn big larh. -.-
but.. not very good. too powdery.

AUGUST 31st !!

XiaoHei, Botter & the Nest with babies.

the pups have weaned !!

all 4 of them have finally opened their eyes,
i was so happy back then!
but then... i never thought this spells trouble for Nera's pup.
everything for Nera's pup started to end here,
including its life.

its because, the pups have weaned and can move about independantly without XiaoHei looking after them anymore, so very naturally XiaoHei assumed that majority of them are independant so she doesnt milk them anymore.
but nevertheless, Nera's pup is 5days younger, and STILL needs milk!!
thus, Nera's pup was neglected...

okay.. shall start a new post.
